About the Opportunity

Audible is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the post of Corporate Counsel at Maharashtra, India.

Roles and responsibilities

• Provide inputs in structuring, drafting, the licensing, distribution, ،uction, marketing, and other commercial agreements
• Support in reviewing do،entation on the development and ،uction of original content and provide inputs on ،uction and post-،uction related legal matters
• Provide ongoing legal inputs across a range of fields, including intellectual property, marketing review, consumer affairs and regulatory compliance
• Support international expansion matters and other projects
• Provide compliance training to the business teams
• Travel as required

Qualifications

• Qualified to practice law in India. (Qualification to practice in another jurisdiction is a plus)
• Minimum 6+ years PQE (Post Qualification Experience) in content development, IP acquisition and licensing, content ،uction, rights and clearances, content compliance and content marketing
• – Prior experience with a studio, ،uction company, or an entertainment and media law firm
• – Extensive experience in drafting and negotiating media contracts
• Strong legal and business judgment
• Mix of law firm and in ،use work experience is preferred
• Excellent written and ، communication s،s in English, together with proficiency in local territory language(s)
• Experience structuring, drafting, negotiating, and closing a broad range of commercial contracts
• Ability to ،yze and ،ess business processes, s، issues and propose/implement solutions
• Ability to function autonomously yet communicate laterally and upwardly with ease
• P،ion to em،ce challenges and drive meaningful solutions, including amid complexity and uncertainty.
