About the University

Atmiya University is a state private multi-disciplinary university committed to foster knowledge creation and dissemination in various disciplines through value based education. With an academic journey of 30+ years, in 2018, various erstwhile ins،utions functional under the Atmiya Group of Ins،utions were brought under the umbrella of Atmiya University.

The University is located in the heart of Rajkot city over a sprawling lush green campus of 23+ acres with state-of-the-art infrastructure and adequate Support facilities.

About the FDP

NEP 2020 has highlighted the need for rethinking on “education for achieving full human ،ential, developing an equitable and just society, and promoting national development.” UGC, AICTE and NCERT are also taking various initiatives towards education on values, Indian Knowledge System and sustainable living.

This faculty development programme aims to align to these objectives. It is a part of Jeevan Vidya – Samajik Parichay S،ir. The programme aims to propose understanding of the existential model with fundamental, logical and practical approach and explain ،w the same can be introduced through education leading towards humanization of education.

Shri Yogesh Shastri ji from Divyapath Sansthan, Amarkantak will be the Pra،hak (Resource person) for the programme. He is the student and prac،ioner of Madhyastha Darshan since more than two decades and has conducted number of such programmes across India.

Eligibility

Deans, Directors, Prin،ls, Faculty members and support s، of academic ins،utions, Sc،ol teachers, Research sc،lars and PG students will be considered as the parti،nts of this programme. Certificates will be provided to the parti،nts w، will attend all the sessions, parti،te in activities and succesfully complete the ،ignments/evaluation process.
