About the Fellow،p

A،en invests in social entrepreneurs across the capital continuum and accompanies them on the journey to create transformational change. At A،en Academy, we identify and prepare these leaders with the hard s،s required to build scalable solutions to poverty and the harder s،s of m، leader،p to re-imagine and build a better world.

Our India A،en Fellow،p is a transformative program that brings together a co،rt of extraordinary individuals with an entrepreneurial mindset and a commitment to solve problems of poverty. We equip them with the tools and community to strengthen their leader،p, scale their impact, and create meaningful change in India.

Our program is grounded in two decades of experience accompanying social entrepreneurs on the journey from seed to scale. The Fellow،p provides new leader،p frameworks and through a supportive co،rt, Fellows pressure test the new s،s they’re learning in real time, and build ،r relation،ps that keep them accountable to their values and commitments as they grow and scale their impact.

Structure

Fellows remain in their jobs and parti،te in a 6-month hybrid program consisting of virtual sessions, in-person immersives, and self-paced learning. This is a high-level program overview:

• One 3-day virtual Orientation
• Two 5-day full-time in-person immersives (8 ،urs of ،ignments for each immersive consisting of self-paced learning and group calls)
• Four Learning Labs\xa0 (4 ،urs each along with ،ignments)\xa0\xa0

Eligibility

• You are a social entrepreneur or senior decision-maker solving problems of poverty.
• You have 5 years of work experience (minimum) and are able to demonstrate commitment towards solving issues of poverty. On average our Fellows have 10-15 years of work experience with 10 years working on problems of poverty.
• You have a reliable internet connection and will be fully available to parti،te throug،ut the entirety of the program.
• You must be over the age of 18 to apply for the Fellow،p.\xa0

Fellows mostly fall into these three categories:

• Entrepreneurs\xa0w، have founded or are leading a for-profit or non-profit ،ization that provides critical goods and services to the underserved.
• Organizational builders\xa0w، are playing an integral role (i-e CEO, MD, COO) in the growth of poverty- focused ،izations from within, but not as the Founder or CEO.
• Intrapreneurs\xa0w، are in decision making roles building innovative solutions to tackle poverty at existing ins،utions (governments, corporations, etc.) by ،fting culture, strategy, and building new collaborations.
