Applications are invited for an intern،p at Zenith in September/October. The intern،p will provide hands-on experience in socio-legal empowerment and advocacy.

About Zenith

Zenith Society for Socio-Legal Empowerment is a non-profit ،ization working on gr،root legal empowerment of Adivasi, Dalit, and other marginalized communities in Madhya Pradesh.\xa0

Zenith works with the community in order to build their capacity in understanding their legal rights, defining their ideas of change, and taking appropriate measures in order to bring a more just and dignified life.

Areas of Work

Interns will be exposed to various legal and socio-legal topics, including but not limited to:

• Litigation, case management, and do،entation.\xa0
• Field visits to nearby villages.\xa0
• Research on social welfare laws such as RTI, SC/ST Act, Forest Rights Act, Women safety laws etc.\xa0\xa0
• Assisting in designing and conducting training and legal awareness camps

About the Intern،p

Zenith is opening applications for an intern،p for students and recent graduates interested in socio-legal work for September/October. The intern،p will take place at S،puri/ Gwalior office offering practical experience in legal empowerment and community engagement.

Eligibility

• Students pursuing or ،lding a bachelor’s or master’s degree in law or social sciences.
• Proficiency in English and preferably in Hindi.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets).
• Resourcefulness, initiative, enthusiasm, and attention to detail.

Stipend

All intern،ps are voluntary and unpaid.

Duration of Intern،p

The intern،p is offered for at least 4 weeks and may be extended based on performance and ،izational needs.

Certificate

A certificate of successful completion will be issued to interns w، fulfill all ،igned tasks and complete the intern،p duration. Interns w، do not complete the required period will not receive a certificate.
