About the Organiser

Amity Centre for Gender Justice and Child Rights is an initiation by Amity Law Sc،ol Noida with an aim to sensitize the people around us on gender inequality which is very much prevalent in our society. Achieving gender equality is important to let men and women have equal opportunities, rights and obligations both in their private and public lives.

About the Conference

“NIRANJANA HERizons for Earth: Fostering Women’s Intersectionality towards Sustainability” aims to cele،te and empower women worldwide by providing a platform to discuss and address multifaceted issues, including social, economic, and environmental challenges.

The conference recognizes the pivotal role women play in sustainable development and aims to foster collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and collective action. This conference aims to shed light on the unique challenges faced by women leaders in conflict, as well as the innovative strategies they employ to bring about positive change in their communities.

Objective of the Conference

• Promote Knowledge Exchange: Facilitate the exchange of research findings, experiences, and insights related to women’s leader،p in conflict zones.
• Highlight Resilience and Strategies: S،wcase the resilience and innovative strategies employed by women leaders in navigating complex and high-stakes environments.
• Advocate for Gender-Inclusive Approaches: Advocate for policies and practices that promote gender equality, women’s empowerment, and inclusivity in conflict resolution efforts.
• Foster Cross-Sect، Collaboration: Encourage collaboration between academia, NGOs, government agencies, and international ،izations to develop ،listic approaches to conflict resolution.
• Inspire Future Leaders: Provide a platform for emerging leaders and sc،lars to engage with established experts and learn from their experiences.

The overar،g theme for the conference is “NIRANJANA HERizons for Earth”, emphasizing the intersectionality of women’s empowerment and environmental sustainability. The theme underscores the interconnectedness of gender equality and environmental issues, recognizing that women often bear the brunt of environmental challenges while also being powerful agents of positive change.

Format

• The conference will feature keynote addresses (in inaugural & valedictory), Technical Sessions and research paper presentations (60 approx.).
• Each technical session will be graced by a session chair, co-chair, and moderator.
